THE FIRING OF PROBATIONARY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES
1st of all, one MUST understand the meaning of the word “Probationary.” As it relates to EMPLOYMENT “it means relating to a period of time when you are new to a job or activity and are being watched and tested to see if you are suitable.” (https://dictionary.cambridge.org).
As it relates to crime, “PROBATION is a period of time during which a person who has committed a crime has to obey the law and be supervised by a probation officer, rather than being sent to prison.” (www.collinsdictionary.com)
As I am sure that we all know by now, “THOUSANDS of Probationary Employees fired as Trump administration directs agencies to carry out widespread layoffs (https://amp-cnn-com.cdn.ampproject.org/amp.cnn)
To my knowledge, none of the Probationary Employees being “fired” by the President Trump and his aids (ESPECIALLY ELON MUSK, “a Special Government Employee” and head of the newly formed DEPARTMENT OF GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY (DOGE) (https://www.businessinsider.com)are being “TERMINATED” because of any involvement in crime!
THESE “TERMINATIONS”. . . This “FIRING” OF INNOCENT INIVIDUALS IS OUTRAGEOUS.
During the past two days I have been advised of two (2) Federal Employees that have received termination notices from the “AGENCY.” They read “The Agency finds, based on your performance that you have not demonstrated that your further employment at the Agency would be in the public interest. For this reason, the Agency is removing you from your position of FRSTRY TECNCN (RES) with the Agency civil service effective immediately.”
This OUTRAGEOUS NOTICE – the 1st one was received by a “FOREST PROTECTION OFFICER,” a young woman that has been a front-line employee and a type 2 FIREFIGHTER for the U S Forest Service for over 9 years!
The 2nd notice that I learned about was issued to a young woman who has lived and worked as a Park Ranger in Alaska’s National Parks and Preserves for over 10 years.
These two ladies were both intelligent, passionate individuals that had dedicated their lives to protecting our nation’s public lands.
THE PEOPLE, THE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, THAT SHOULD BE RECEIVING NOTICES OF TERMINATION DURING A PROBATIONARY PERIOD ARE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, ELON MUSK, J D VANCE, AND SERVERAL OTHER MEMBERS OF TRUMP’S CABINET – THEY SHOULD ALL BE ON PROBATION FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS – YES?
They have all “screwed up” during what should be “THEIR PROBATIONARY PERIOD” . . .
I mean, after all, Trump as renamed the Gulf of Mexico, made the world safe for plastic straws, appointed “himself” Chairman of the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, wants to dispose of te Department of Education and abolish the Occupational Safety and Health Agency to name just a few things (from.thehill.com).
Elon Musk says “Some of the things that I say will be incorrect and should be corrected.” He actual said “F**k Yourself” in reply to a MAGA Supporter at a H-1B Visa Debate (ndtv.com)
Vice President J D Vance stated “The threat I worry the most about vis-à-vis Europe is not Russia, it’s not China, it’s not any other external actor. What I worry about is the threat from within, the retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values, values shared with the United States of America,” while speaking at the recent Munich Security Conference (reuters.com).
These individuals should be on a two-year Probationary period of employment. LET’S SEND THEM NOTICES OF TERMINATION BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!
